The I Ching is based upon the concept that in both heaven and earth, to rule is truly to serve.
The sacrifice of those above for the benefit of those below brings forth joy and awe-inspired gratitude which lends value to the flowering of community.
When the earth partakes of the creative power of heaven, those below are devoted to those above and great undertakings succeed.
Hard work is necessary to make the best use of the auspicious time since it will not last.
The spiritually evolved person, seeing what is good, imitates it. Seeing fault they remove it first within themselves. This ethical change represents the most important benefit.
